An Aldi Kids Bedroom Makeover

Written by Lauren. Posted in Reviews

I love the Aldi Special Buy’s and often grab myself a bargain.  This week they have a whole bunch of things to completely revamp a bedroom.  Little things can make a huge difference when sprucing up a room, a throw on a bed or even books displayed in children’s bedrooms.

Aldi very kindly sent the boys some bits to give their Superhero bedroom a bit of help and they were delighted to receive Spiderman Duvet covers (£9.99,) an alarm clock (£7.99) that helps to learn how to tell the time and a storage unit(£12.99.)

A Typical British Summer

We live in the southwest 3 miles from a beach. We’ve lived here for 2 years and never taken the boys there. It’s a bit of a pain in the butt to get to, there are a mountain of steep stone steps to get down to the sea which are hardly easy to conquer with 2 children and all the stuff that they require. The other week the Hubby went on a bike ride and visited Padstow. He said that the whole trip made him open his eyes up to what exactly was on our doorstep.

Last week the weather down here was fab. It made a change from the weeks of constant rain that we have had and the boys spent most of it playing in the garden on their new trampoline. With rain forecast for this week we woke up on Saturday in glorious sunshine and decided to take advantage of the remaining sun and head over to Cornwall.

Celebrate the Jubilee in Style with Aldi

I love Aldi, especially their Special Buys and seasonal goods.  When they asked us to review their Jubilee range I immediately said yes and excitedly awaited the postman.  For events like the Jubilee, Halloween etc I resent spending a lot of money on decorations that will only end up being thrown away after the event or risk being battered by the weather or overexcited children.  Aldi offer seasonal goods for such occasions that are good quality and extremely affordable.

Review – Aldi: Lacura Skincare

Spend a little, live a lot

With our recent Budget Busting we have been searching around for the best deals.  My skincare products have gone from pricey premium brands to supermarket own which aren’t that bad but with my sensitive skin I have found myself buying many different types and spending the same money I would have spent on the premium stuff.  When Aldi offered me their beauty range to review I was a little sceptical but decided to give it a whirl especially when I saw that in a recent survey that it fared better than brands such as Boots No7 which I have used in the past.
