Review – Sock Ons & Dribble Ons

Written by Lauren. Posted in Baby Products, Reviews

Dot has mainly been dressed in outfits that require tights.  Little dresses and tunics are extremely cute but there was a big pile of one piece outfits and leggings going to waste, all because I can’t stand baby socks.  They are always really baggy and the few times that we did put them on her, all it took was her feet being under a blanket for them to slide off and disappear.  Enter Sock Ons.

Review – Medela Swing Electric Breast Pump

Written by Lauren. Posted in Baby Products, Reviews

I’ve had a few wobbles but I am pleased to say I have made it to my 8 week breast-feeding milestone.  I have set myself lots of little targets, one being no bottles until at least 8 weeks.  I knew when I decided to breast feed that I would eventually start expressing some milk because I like my independence (a lot) and struggle to see the Hubby doing what he wants, when he wants whilst I’m stuck being dictated to by a boob monster.  When I asked my breastfeeding friends to recommend a pump the majority all said that the best one they had tried had to be the Medela Swing Electric Breast Pump.  When Medela asked me to review one for them I was delighted to receive it along with the Calma Solitaire teat.

Review – Pink Lining Mama et Bebe Messenger Changing Bag

Written by Lauren. Posted in Baby Products, Reviews

I really am a bag and shoes kind of girl so when Pink Lining asked me to review for them I jumped at the chance especially after seeing the introduction of Purple Dragonflies into their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.  When the Mama et Bebe Messenger arrived I was like a kid at Christmas. Having owned a Yummy Mummy and Poppins from Pink Lining, I was keen to see how the Mama et Bebe shaped up.

Review – Fisher-Price Sparkling Symphony Mobile

Written by Lauren. Posted in Baby Products, Reviews

This week Dot has started showing an interest in her surroundings.  She has suddenly noticed the toys on her bouncer and one morning in her cot spent a good 10 minutes staring at a spiral toy that Spike had put on the drape rod for her.  I decided it was about time to crack out the Sparkling Symphony Mobile (RRP £34.99) that Fisher Price sent us.
