Review – TOMY Dinosaur Train Interactives

The boys both love the Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train and Spike can often be heard singing the theme tune. In our big parcel from TOMY he was thrilled to see three Interactive toys from the Dinosaur Train range.

We received Tank Triceratops, Tiny Pteranodon and Buddy T-Rex. All three Interactives have SmartTalk technology which gives them the ability to recognise and interact with each other and the other dinosaurs in the range.

They can be played with as stand alone toys with each one sharing different dinosaur facts and making noises relevant to the type of dinosaur that they are. For example Tank Triceratops makes chomping and stomping sounds where as Tiny Pteranodon makes flapping sounds when her wings are moved.

When together you simply press their buttons and they talk to each other which both boys thought was really cool. Spike was extremely impressed that they knew each others names and it made the games he played with much more fun because the toys co operated with his imagination.

They are well made and solid which is great in this house with two boisterous pre schoolers putting things through their paces so the RRP’s of £19.99 for Tank Triceratops and £14.99 for Tiny Pteranodon and Buddy T-Rex are very reasonable.
