When you’re at home with young children, there can be a danger of feeling isolated. You spend far more time within four walls than before the kids were born, and that can leave you feeling lonely. Of course, most of the time you’re too busy to feel lonely, and you’ll have plenty of entertainment through your children, but there are those times when you’d really prefer the company of other adults, but can’t really get it that easily.

The internet has radically altered the way that people spending a lot of time at home can continue to socialise and you can always get onto sites like Facebook to see what your friends are up to, but it’s the more interactive sites that offer the most in terms of socialization online.

One of the most popular pastimes around at the moment is playing online bingo. Believe it or not, there are more than a hundred million of us worldwide getting our ‘eyes down’ and playing bingo on sites like http://bgo.com/bingo. bgo is only one of many new bingo sites that has an amazing selection of casino games on it, so there’s a huge choice of ways to be entertained on one site. In order to get new players off to a flying start the site offers a whopping 200% bonus for any first time cash deposits – so someone opening their account with £10 will have £30 to play with.

The attractions of playing bingo are numerous. For a start, you can have a great amount of fun with very little money. Sites like bgo and others all offer great incentive bonuses to get you playing in the first place, and tickets for each game are really cheap – starting at only a few pence depending on the game you choose to play. There are also lots of free bingo games to play, so you don’t always have to put real money down to play, even when you’re playing for some impressive jackpots.

Then of course, there’s the possibility that it just might be your lucky day and you’ll land the jackpot. As bingo relies on chance to create its winners, there’s nothing to stop your next game being the one where you come away with the main prize. So beyond enjoyment of the game itself, there’s a great sense of anticipation and excitement every time you play.

But for many people, the biggest attraction of online bingo is the social side. The game itself requires very little input from the players – all you need to do is choose the games you want to play and the number of tickets you want to buy. The ‘work’ of marking off the numbers as they are called is left to the software, which leaves you free to chat to other players in the bingo chat rooms.

So whenever you feel like you need a change from discussing why the sky is blue or where the water goes when you flush the loo – or other fascinating ‘how the world works’ questions that are posed by toddlers and young children – you can always be guaranteed to find some grown-up company on bingo sites. Of course, there’s no guarantee that the subject matter will be any more interesting, but at least other bingo players won’t say ‘why’? when you say you can’t answer these fundamental life questions!
