I love taking photos, I might not be very good at it but for me it’s capturing the memory rather than the quality of the picture. I did start project 366 but sadly stopped uploading them a few weeks back as everything here went a bit hectic. I found it much easier just to pop one up onto my Facebook page than create a Blog post for it. Anyway I digress. We have photographs all over our house. I don’t think we have any pictures hanging that aren’t a photo. When photo-canvas asked us to review one of their canvas’ I jumped at the chance.
Immediately I decided not to get a canvas of the boys. Our bedroom is the only place that hasn’t been decorated or personalised. It is literally just somewhere for us to sleep. We decided to get a canvas of one of our wedding photos to hang above the bed, especially as it is our 5th wedding anniversary this year.
Photo-canvas offer a lot of choice of style from collages to pop art style prints. They offer a lifetime guarantee – they will not scratch or warp, free wall fixings, free date stamp removal, free red eye and blemish reduction as well as free mainland UK delivery on a same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm Monday to Friday. We opted for a message canvas which hosted a sepia photo and some text. The order process was extremely easy and I was able to see the edits that I was doing to the photo quickly and clearly. Once I had placed the order I received an email confirmation. Less than an hour later I received another email because photo-canvas staff had made edits to the print to make it look better and it needed my approval. I simply followed the link and could approve or cancel the edits before it went to print.
The next day our canvas arrived. The quality isn’t as good as some that I have had before but that probably reflects the price as photo-canvas.com are a lot more affordable than some other places. The sepia was a little too green for me but none the less it looks good in our bedroom and is nice to have something to show us the memory of our special day.
