The Sun is out! It must mean Summer is FINALLY here!

We wrote the other week about changing our garden and we’ve gone one step further and made an actual plan especially now the sun has decided to make an appearance. As well as their funky little playhouse which they love we are hoping to get them some cosy coupes, a basket ball net and an 8 foot trampoline. The trampoline I am most excited about! We disregarded it for so long as most of our garden is on a slight slope but we have been introduced to anchor kits which secure them properly to the ground so my mission is to shop around for the best deal that I can find starting at BuyDirect4U.

When I was a Nanny I spent my summer on the trampoline with my charges and lost the excess weight that I had gained from the late night junk dinners that I was having every night after finishing work at 7pm. I used to go home after a day of bouncing and it would take a good few hours for the sensation to stop! Coupled with my new routine of running, wobbling and sit ups I should be how I want to be in no time!

We keep changing our minds about buying a table and chairs, a BBQ and other practical things for the garden because of the lack of sunshine due to the trees. I would much rather just have it as a playground for the boys to enjoy over the holidays because it’s great that they are out of the direct sun when they are playing. They both love playing outside and yesterday afternoon shrieks of laughter could be heard from both of them when Mummy and Daddy decided to join them for a game of football! We would love the fence off our front garden which gets sun all day long but a bylaw is preventing us from doing that and wasting all of those lovely rays so for now we have decided just to enjoy what we have and make the most of it before the rain kicks in again!
