Time to Treat Myself
Isn’t it funny how when you have no money to treat yourself there is so much that you “need” but when you have money that has been specifically assigned for nice treats there is nothing that you want?!

It’s certainly not a secret that I LOVE prams but the words “you are not spending it on a pram or anything for the children” are always said when I had a nice sum of spare money burning a hole in my pocket. I was sent a voucher to spend in a certain shop to review recently and the last time I went in there I wanted everything, this time nothing has caught my eye so I have banned myself from the children’s section otherwise I’d fall in love with all of their Jubilee clothes for the Boys.
I have a nice tidy sum of money for a nice treat after selling some of my baby changing bags that were gathering dust. Not that long ago I would be eyeing up the next baby bag to buy but have taken a stand myself and am determined to spend it on myself. I have always loved bags so there is no surprise that Radley had me tempted! I have 2 Radley handbags and after years of use they are still going strong. But then there is the ultimate question – do I really need another bag?! I have opted for a purse. I am being sensible. I currently don’t have a decent purse, my card wallet is falling apart and money falls out of my pockets left right and centre if I happen to have cash on me. These are gorgeous and I am very tempted by the Great British Summer one as I am a sucker for the Union Jack!
There you go, I can be practical and treat myself at the same time. Anything else could have been considered a waste of money that technically I could put into savings but where is the fun in that?!
