With Easter fast approaching the shops have been filling up with chocolate eggs, gifts and craft ideas all adorned with cute little chicks and bunnies. The Boys have been doing Easter crafts and Easter themed baking at their Stay and Play group for the past few weeks and are loving it so we were thrilled when Poundworld sent us a huge box of Easter goodies.
They have some fab stuff to offer this year and at only £1 each you can’t really go wrong! I resent spending a lot of money on crafts for the boys because even though they create some pretty cool stuff at 14 months old Spike is only interested in eating it and Spud can be extremely creative one day and extremely destructive the next. With a painting set, Easter Bonnet Decoration and Make you own Easter card sets from Poundworld all bases are covered and it is excellent value for money. Considering the price the sets are pretty good quality, for example the poster set has 4 Easter posters, 8 paints and a brush and contains thicker paper so it doesn’t go horrible when watery paint is applied.
The Easter Bonnet and decorating kit are available separately but in the kit you get a lot of craft materials from ribbon to glittery eggs and teamed with the 12 fluffy chicks the whole lot would make a truly fantastic bonnet for only £3!
One of our favourite sets is for the Easter Egg Hunt. We are actually saving that Easter weekend to do a proper hunt but for only £1 you get 10 eggs that split, 4 rabbit signs and 4 collecting baskets so everything that you need for a really good Easter egg hunt with the kids. The little rabbit signs will make it a lot easier for younger children like Spud to actually know where to look!
Knowing me as you do, you won’t be surprised to find that our second favourite thing was the chocolate. There is a selection of eggs in the latest TV and craze characters as well as chocolate bunnies available. For you guessed it £1!
