On the 10th Day of Christmas Spud & Spike gave to me……….STOCKING FILLER Ideas

Written by Lauren on. Posted in 12 Days of Christmas

Ooh I love getting a stocking.  All those little bits and pieces that are quirky, useful and plain fun.  Here are some great stocking fillers to make everyone smile this Christmas morning.

This finger printing art set is going to make Spud very happy on Christmas day.  It contains 4 ink pads, 12 rubber stamps and 10 colouring pencils to create little works of art using your fingers!  With the facial expressions, hands and feet designs on the rubber stamps your pictures can really come to life and some extremely cute pictures can be created.  It all comes in a brightly coloured tin so can be stored easily without the risk of losing pieces.  It has an RRP of £9 but is currently on offer at Prezzy Box for only £7.95.

You can mould it, bounce it, snap it, and stretch it. Who doesn’t love Space Putty?!  This new design has a heat sensitive formula and changes colour in your hands.  When you have finished playing with it you simply pop it back into the pot and it returns to it’s original colour.  At about £4.99 a pot it’s guaranteed to keep anybody entertained so makes the perfect stocking filler, just ask Karina from Not Always Right about her partner and his love of Space Putty!  Keep your eyes peeled because we have a pot of Green to Isotype Lime to give away along with one Ickee Stikeez!  Space Putty is avaliable from Amazon, Smyths and Toys R US.

The ZingZillas Beat Bopping toothbrush set includes a guitar toothbrush holder, a beaker and a Wet ‘n’ Stick Tang picture and an Island scene.  The guitar plays 3 different ZingZilla sounds and will entertain any little person for the dreaded 2 minutes of tooth brushing.  Also in the range is Monkey Madness mouldable foam.  You squirt some out and add lots of fun to bath times making shapes and sculptures out of the foam.  It is guaranteed to create giggles in our house and with prices staring at £5.50 they will definitely be making it into our stockings this Christmas.

My stocking wouldn’t be a stocking without a Poo-Pooing Reindeer!  My mother has put one of these beauties in there for as long as I can remember (along with a handful of Quality Streets and a Satsuma!)  You push him down and the delightful little fella leaves some little chocolate raisins for you to enjoy!  Spud will find this absolutely hilarious so there will definitely be one in his stocking this year.  They are currently on offer on Play for only £2.99 with free delivery!

For Spike this year we have some Winnie the Pooh bath toys.  I love how the Happy Hoop Bubbley Bath set provides an educational toy for bath time.  Stacking hoops that sit on the side of the bath and provide an interaction between parent and child or siblings as well as assisting hand, eye coordination development and understanding of numbers and letters with the funky design.  Also in the range is the Winnie the Pooh bath puff which is super soft and has a flannel tummy so is kind to little skin and the bath skittles which retail for £4 and are on the 3 for 2 Christmas offer in Boots.

Poundland have done it again.  This little wooden whistle is a perfect stocking filler and at only £1 you can’t go wrong.  It is good quality and will provide my boys with hours of fun.  Anything from Poundland’s Christmas range would make a fab stocking filler because everything is cheap, quirky and will provide hours of entertainment.
