Today Huggies kindly invited us to Disney Headquarters to an exclusive screening of the new Winnie the Pooh film. We invited our friend Sarah and her daughter Libby to come with us. Libby and Spud had the same due date and were born 2 weeks apart so have known each other forever. They don’t get to see each other very often but it’s nice that they get on well when they do see each other!
Spud has a huge love for public transport (the little weirdo) so was ecstatic to learn that we were going on a bus, a train AND a tube to get to Hammersmith.
When we arrived at Disney HQ the excitement hit me! I was like a child. Spud was oblivious to just how special the place that we were stood in was, where as I was giggling and excitedly snapping photos of a giant Mickey Mouse and taking in all of the art work that covers the walls.
We were warmly welcomed by the Huggies team and were allowed to explore a huge room adorned with art work and models including some huge characters from the Film. I was thrilled to meet Claire from Emmy’s Mummy and Liz from the Hart of the Munchkin Patch as well as bumping into Paula from Mummy vs Work.
After a scrummy lunch we went into the cinema room and settled down to watch Winnie the Pooh!
It was a great film, even Sarah and I were laughing along and it was the perfect length for toddlers. Both Libby and Spud were extremely tired and despite his love for the bus he crashed out. He stayed asleep for another hour after we got home which is extremely rare so he must have had a great day!
We were given a lovely goody bag to take home which Spike was the most impressed with when we were reunited. Thank you Huggies for a GREAT day!
