When E45 asked me to review their Endless Moisture Derma Restore Body Lotion I was a little upset. The subtext states “enriched for Mature skin.” At only 24 I don’t really see myself as ‘mature.’
After my initial shock and bout of sulking with a chocolate bar, I started to think a bit more clearly. I take really good care of my facial skin because as a wearer of make up I am more than aware that for every night you sleep in a full face of make up, your skin ages 8 days but I have never thought about my body. I should have done considering I have had two children so parts have grown, shrunk, stretched and gradually become shadows of their former selves but apart from the odd spot of baby lotion on freshly shaved legs I don’t apply moisturiser. After a quick discussion with E45 it was apparent that in this case prevention is key and they don’t think I have old saggy skin that needs a lift so I got to work on their three week challenge.
With over 50 years of skin care experience and a bunch of advanced anti aging ingredients E45 have created a lightweight, non greasy nourishing cream that in three weeks should leave skin feeling more supple, softer and producing a noticeable glow. It is enriched with natural oils and a form of Vitamin B3 which helps to boost collagen production and with specially chosen ingredients that help the skin without causing dryness or irritation like some specialist creams do. In a recent study 100% of participants noticed long lasting hydration and 80% said that Endless Moisture Derma Restore left their skin ‘velvety soft, smooth and supple.’ With all this evidence I was keen to get started.
I applied Endless Moisture Derma Restore twice a day and after the first use I noticed that the smell was lovely. It was very subtle so I didn’t have to worry about perfume clashing with it. It’s quick drying so I didn’t have to waste any time standing around waiting to get dressed which was extremely handy when Spud started back at Creche and I needed to be up and out by 9am! Within a few days noticed that my skin felt softer to touch. By the end of the first week I found that my skin felt freshly moisturised at tea time even though I hadn’t applied it since before breakfast. When my 3 weeks were up I was pleased to say that it certainly does do what it claims to do. My skin was soft, subtle and glowing. I even got asked if I had been away somewhere nice because my skin looked that good!
At only £4.99 for 200ml, in Boots, this is a fantastic body lotion. A little bit goes a long way so it certainly doesn’t break the bank on a quest to nicer feeling, nicer looking skin.
