23 years ago this was the World’s biggest Postman Pat fan:
Every day after Nursery my big brother would rush home to watch his favourite program and when I was born my Mum knitted him his very own Pat as a present from me. This photograph was taken of Pat today so the old fella is still going strong.
Imagine Uncle Matt’s delight when he discovered that Spud is as big a fan as he was. Unfortunately Matt lives in Texas so they can’t share their passion face to face and he was extremely jealous when he learnt that Spud had been asked to review the newest Postman Pat DVD that is being released to celebrate Pat’s 30th Birthday!
The 2 disc Happy Birthday Pat DVD contains 8 brilliant episodes which provide 3 hours of Postman Pat’s adventures. The episodes are:
- Postman Pat’s Great Big Party
- Postman Pat takes the Bus
- Postman Pat and the Toy Soldiers
- Postman Pat and the Tuba
- Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket
- Postman Pat and the Barometer
- Postman Pat Clowns Around
- Postman Pat’s Pirate Treasure
The second disk is a Limited Edition party CD which contains 15 easy to sing along to tracks for you and your children to enjoy.
We popped Spud into the study to watch Postman Pat on the projector screen which he thought was amazing. He loves Postman Pat anyway but to see him life sized made for one very excited Spud! The episode selection is brilliant for him. His current favourite things are buses, trains and pirates so to have all of those included with his beloved Postman Pat and Jess was just perfect. He was gripped to the screen. At one point I went to check that he was ok and found Pops sat with him totally enthralled by Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket. At we even had tantrums at bath time because he wanted to keep watching it, Spud that is – not Pops!
It’s a brilliant DVD packed full of Postman Pat fun and the CD means we have seen some truly epic Spud dance moves. I am impressed that one character has influenced 2 generations of children and wouldn’t be surprised if in another 30 years my grandchildren were watching it.
